“One day a Scorpion arrived at a fast flowing river which is too deep for him to cross.

He sees a fox about to cross the river and asks if he can get a ride in the back of the fox.

The Fox says, but if I let you ride on my back you will sting me and kill me.

“If I sting you while crossing I will also die”

The fox thinks about this and says “OK”. The scorpion jumps on the foxes back and starts to cross the river.

Half way across the Scorpion stings the Fox. “Why did you do that?” asks the fox. “We will now both drown” 

The scorpion simply replied “It is my nature” ”
